Happy Thursday ladies. I love garments that can be worn during multiple seasons. Year-round clothes save us time and money plus make travel easier because it means fewer clothes to pack. When Christopher and Banks asked me to choose some garments to style for now and later, I zeroed in on these pants. I knew they’d be great in the cool weather at home and perfect for my trip to Mexico.
There’s nothing more versatile than black pull-on pants for my wardrobe and these Easy Wear Slim Pull-On Pants are perfect. I can dress them up and down in multiple combinations which will make them the perfect chameleon for my wardrobe. Before we left to Mexico, I wore them on a blustery day of house hunting.
It was overcast and cold so I wore them with booties, this classic long-sleeved cotton tee and this Utility Jacket in peony pink. I’m loving pink with black these days because the pink brightens the feel of black, and black tones down the sweetness of pink.
The classic long sleeve tee and pants create a column of black for a slimming look under the jacket. My black booties continue the line which helps me look taller. This Utility Jacket will be great all spring and the color will make it perfect for summer evenings.
The snaps on the jacket are silver toned so I wore simple hoop earrings and this Long Beaded Charm Necklace. This long necklace draws the eye down from the crew neckline and puts the focus midway down my silhouette, which I prefer.
Who wants to worry about losing expensive jewelry while on vacation? Not me. I only bring costume pieces which are hassle-free and make a fun statement. This Long Beaded Charm Necklace is as perfect with the white tank and Ruana as it is with the black tee and jacket.
This lightweight Ruana gives just the right amount of arm coverage for these warm temps and gentle breezes and will be perfect all summer at home. This classic white tank is an invaluable layering piece for me because it fits loosly and doesn’t cling to my tummy. Mandatory for me on holidays when I eat more than I should.
Do you have clothes you will wear now and later?
Thanks to Christopher and Banks for partnering on this post. I was provided product and compensated. All opinions are my own.
