Restoring Summer Style Confidence

Summer is in full, swing and the living is easy! White jeans, soft cotton, linen and lightweight summer dresses are the order of the day. These should be our ticket to comfort and how we beat the heat in style. Sadly, for the one in three women who experience bladder leaks, their summer style is often compromised by the ugly, bulky options traditionally available.

When

Over 77% of women report their current bladder leak underwear made them feel older. 70% are embarrassed by the whole idea of wearing bladder leak underwear and 61% say it’s unflattering. As a result, 2 out of 3 women who have tried bladder leak underwear avoid wearing it even when they know they need it! Always Discreet Boutique was created in response to the frustration Proctor & Gamble heard from thousands of women struggling with their bulky, unattractive bladder control underwear.

We should all be able to wear the clothes and looks we love so I put Always Discreet Boutique to the style test. With white jeans!

Here’s why Always Discreet Boutique is so effective:

It has a thin, unique core technology that quickly turns liquid to gel and makes the product less bulky.

The sides and waist of the underwear have a silky smooth fabric to help it feel comfortable while you’re wearing it. On the inside, there is a super absorbent core with unique RapidDry™ technology that absorbs leaks in seconds. In addition, there is  OdorLock technology that helps neutralize odors instantly and continuously, and lastly, Absorbent Gel Material (AGM) that helps lock the fluid deep within the core and away from your body.

The AGM is uniquely placed within a “Channeled Core” technology that helps enable an efficient absorption system (protection without the bulk). Rather than absorbing leaks in one spot (where the leak hits), this core is engineered to redistribute the liquid across the full length of the core. This means absorbency power can be spread more thinly across the full length of the core. Many years of technical expertise went into the technology and design of Always Discreet Boutique Underwear.Jennifer Connolly of A Well Styled Life testing Always Discreet Boutique under white jeans

Half of all women say that bladder leaks affect their personal confidence. That’s unacceptable and now with Always Discreet Boutique, they can get their confidence back. These pretty bladder leak underwear are soft and effective and work with all your summer fashion. Including white jeans!Jennifer Connolly of A Well Styled Life testing Always Discreet Boutique under white jeans

Let’s normalize the conversation on bladder leakage. The lady who rang up my Always Discreet package last week was shocked I didn’t want a shopping bag to hide it. How weird is that? If I’m not uncomfortable with it why is she?Jennifer Connolly of A Well Styled Life testing Always Discreet Boutique under white jeans

Always Discreet Boutique is available on Amazon.com in both the original peach and their new purple. Click here to purchase. I am testing the new purple under my white jeans and they passed the test!

A big thank you to Always Discreet Boutique for inviting me to partner with them on this post. I was compensated but all opinions are my own.

Thanks for reading ladies and have a great day!

  1. First of all, I love your outfit…so cute with the hat. I think I could be a poster child for incontinence and I am really picky about the products I like. I like Always Discreet Boutique and, yes, they work with white pants. I wear something every day…so I know. Good choice of outfit.

  2. Hi Jennifer,
Thanks for sharing this valuable information. In the years following the birth of my kids, I did have a serious problem this way but back then, dealt with it just by using pads. That always felt like ‘another layer’ whereas the products that you’ve written about only replace what we’re already wearing. Sounds much more convenient if you ask me. So while I don’t need it at this point, it’s now on my radar in case things change. Thanks for the info.

  3. Do you know of any similar products that can be washed and reused?

      1. I use Icon pee pants. Hold up to 6 tsps, washable. Come in a variety of colors and cuts.
The panty fabric is smooth – not cotton.

    1. Icon panties are washable, comfortable and dry over night. They are about $35 but are quality and come in different colors and also how heavy leakage control one needs. Over their lifetime reasonable cost.

  4. There is a new brand called knix that makes adorable panties that can hold up to two tampons full. They are not made of paper. They are made of beautiful soft stretchy material. I highly recommend.

  5. How smart of you to model Always Discreet with white jeans. You really can’t tell them from regular underwear. I don’t have a leakage problem but for those that do it is a good solution.

    1. I was so pleased to see how they work under white jeans! And after my holiday, they are snug white jeans 😉

I love your purse. Where did you purchase it?

    1. I bought it 30 years ago at Neiman Marcus. It’s an original Kate Spade which I treasure.

  7. Thanks so much for sharing this Jennifer! So many women suffer from this and we need solutions to address the problem without fear and embarrassment.

    1. I totally agree Janet. This is nothing to be ashamed of and we need to talk openly so it looses the stigma. I was so shocked how the lady who rang me up acted. She works in a drug store for heavens sake!!

  8. anne shannon says:

May I suggest physiotherapy for weak bladders as an alternative solution. Two of us in my family had this problem and it was resolved easily by physiotherapists who had specialized training. I suspect this is a much cheaper solution in the long run than panty liners.

    1. Thanks for sharing Anne. We need to normalize this conversation to share solutions.
