Look of the Week: Wrapped in Cashmere

Last week we had some cool weather and I got a chance to wear my new wrap. Long before it’s cool enough to wear a coat here, I need a little something extra to take theĀ chill off. Sometimes a scarf works but more often than not I reach for a wrap.

I met Catherine Robinson through her elegant blog CashmereĀ Lover, several years ago. She writes about style, fashion, photography, the art of graceful living and of course, cashmere!

I love designing luxurious, timeless knitwear and accessories with the finest cashmere made in Mongolia, known worldwide as the ā€˜Land of the Blue Skyā€™.~ Catherine Robinson

Two years ago I ordered her oversized wrap in the softest shell pink. I took it on our cruise of the Baltics that summer and it was the only thing that kept me from freezing to death! What an elegant way to stay warm!

I can wrap this around me several times and be cocooned in cashmere. It’s beyond luxurious and a favorite I will wear forever.

The presentation of her cashmere is very important to this gracious lady so each piece arrives wrapped in tissue, tied with a satin ribbon and includes a cameo that is infusedĀ with her signature scent, Grace. She also includes a lovely personal note in every box.

This is my year to step further away from black so I chose her smaller wrap in Soft Navy. It’s the perfect length on my short self.

Catherine designs in delicate, muted colors.Ā Vintage rose, ivory, soft grays, pinks, and blues bring a soft glow to brightenĀ the complexion.

I find woven wraps can slip off my shoulders. Luckily, this is a knit so it stays put!

This wrap is the perfect length to simply knot around my neck and wear as a scarf too.

Catherine also makes the most beautiful ponchos, sweaters, socks, and robes and much more. Can you imagine the fabulousness of snuggling into a cashmere robe?

If you love cashmere as much as I do, pop over for a look. I already have several other things on my wish list for the upcoming holidays.

I can’t wait for the weather to cool off enough for me to wear this all the time!

Have a great day and thanks for reading!
