Affordable Options at French Kande

I’ve had a few emails lately from readers who would love to try French Kande, but find the price point a bit high for them. Today I’m sharing some of their lower priced pieces that have the same fabulous look and are a great way to add the look to your wardrobe.

I discovered French Kande several years ago and have been slowly building my collection. I often wear very simple, inexpensive clothes and simply dress them up with French Kande. They make a bold statement that gets noticed and feels modern to me.

These pieces are all cast in custom molds and handmade by artisans in their California studio.

A great starting point is their earring collection.

The price point is lower and selection much smaller because Kande Hall, the designer, demands all earrings be lightweight. Bravo! I refuse to burden my aging earlobes with heavy jewelry. I don’t know about you, but a sagging look isn’t flattering anywhere on my body!

I’ve just ordered this pair. These would be too much for me to wear with a necklace but will pair perfectly with a bracelet.

These earrings are more delicate but still have the medallion and maintain the look.

I have large hands so adore their chunkiest bracelets but many women prefer more delicate pieces.

French Kande makes smaller bracelets with the same medallions that are less expensive.

Kande loves pearls and so do I. The older I get, the less I want to wear a classic strand of pearls because they tend to feel dowdy on me at 60.

Add a French Kande medallion to a strand of pearls and they take on a modern, edgy feeling that makes a bolder statement… which is just what I want my jewelry to do these days.

The longer I spend on the French Kande website the more things I discover I like, They are so unique looking and frequently become conversation starters.

They also have gorgeous rings and broaches at very nice price points.

Do you wear statement jewelry?

Thanks for reading and have a great day!

Have you tried Rustic Cuff for bracelets? Lots of choices and very reasonably priced. I always get great comments on mine.

I haven’t heard of them Barbara. I’ll check them out. Thanks!

You’ve drawn my attention to some great FK pieces–thank you! I admire this line a lot but would love to be able to try on without the worry of returns and the associated costs and risk. As with clothes, the scale and feel of a piece can be very different from what one perceives on a monitor. Still, one of these days, I will probably take the plunge and order. And I agree with you, a great piece of jewelry can make simple, more modest pieces look great.

I agree, Roxanne, it’s always easier if you can see a piece in person first. That’s why I shared some less expensive pieces here!

Those are such pretty pieces. A boutique near me carries this line and it looks beautiful and well made.

She does have some stunning pieces, Jennifer!! I might get to meet her when we visit LA at the end of the month. She might be hosting a brunch for the Fierce 50 which would be so interesting!!

Thank you so much for this post. My first order of French Kande arrives today and I can hardly wait. An early birthday gift. I had seen a few bloggers, including yourself wearing French Kande and you all look so stunning. Enjoy your posts and appreciate this one especially.

    • June 19, 2017 / 6:41 am

That’s exciting Barbara! Which price did you order?

  7. June 19, 2017 / 6:38 am

I admire the French Kande jewelry and would like to see it in a store and try it on. Do you always order online or do you have it available in a store near you?

    • June 19, 2017 / 7:17 am

I always order online, Linda. They are available in select boutiques but not near me. Plus boutiques only order select items of their choosing. I prefer access to the complete collection which is from their website.

I think it is a nice line but it seems ubiquitous these days on the blog sites. I would like to see some other options in the bold but classic department.

    • June 19, 2017 / 10:56 am

I will share other looks too, Penelope. I do wear a lot of FK because I love it.

I am subscribed to your blog posts but have received nothing since June 8. I tried to re-subscribe and it says I am already subscribed. I enjoy reading your posts and seeing your fashion and want to continue doing so. Any help would be much appreciated!

      Hi Susan,
I checked and your email was suppressed. I think I fixed it for you!

    Hi Jennifer,
I was wondering if you had any Susan Shaw jewelry? Some of the pieces remind me of French Kande. They also do pearl necklaces with a medallion. I like their designs with the fleur de lis, bumble bee, etc…
Thanks for your wonderful blog! Annette

    • June 19, 2017 / 11:02 am

I have not heard of them, Annette but they sound wonderful. I will check them out. Thanks!!

Lovely jewelry but so obviously French Kande, once you see a medallion they all look the same. BUT I am going to order some necklaces as my friends don’t wear this brand and don’t read blogs, the only place Insee the brand frequently worn????

    • June 19, 2017 / 5:09 pm

French Kande is sold in select boutiques but I’ve not seen it myself anywhere but online. Your friends are very lucky, Gayle! I’m sure they will love the necklaces.

I love French Kande and am really excited to hear the earrings are light weight. I wore large Madonna-ish earrings in the 80’s and am now paying for it with large ear holes, so I’m always on the look out for earring like this. Thanks!

    • June 20, 2017 / 7:54 am

I think many of us did that Laurie!! I’m glad Kande understands our concern.
