Gifts for the Woman Who Loves At-Home Beauty Gadgets

Do you have a beauty gadget lover on your gift list this year? I’m a huge fan of doing things at home rather than paying salon or esthetician prices… over and over. You invest in the tool once and have it to use repeatedly. These aren’t as powerful as the ones your dermatologist or medispa uses, but over time can get similar results. This update is sharing the gadgets I am using and love.

This year I am focusing on my face and ways to improve skin texture, brightness, and reduce inflammation. the light salon kit

I’ve been looking into buying an at-home LED mask for several years, and finally decided on this one. The Light Salon Boost LED Mask is amazing!! The other masks I looked at have hard outside shells which and look really uncomfortable. This soft, flexible mask is super comfy and very soothing to use.

Here are some other beauty gadgets that are very popular:

at home beauty gadgets on a well styled life

1- Nuface Trinity Face Toning System. FDA-cleared handheld device for facial stimulation with the same microcurrent technology used in top spas, medical offices. I finally moved mine to sit right next to my bathroom sink so I remember to use it each morning. It only takes 5 minutes but I kept forgetting until after I’d put my makeup on.

2- BeautyBioĀ GloPRO Microneedling Tool. Red LED light therapy and VibroTactile Stimulation work synergistically to enhance regenerative skin benefits. The people who’ve tried this really love it!

– Tria SmoothBeauty Laser. FDA-cleared, clinically proven laser treatment uses Non-Ablative Fractional Laser Technology to stimulate collagen production in the same way that professional, in-office laser treatments do, but at a fraction of the cost. Update- this seems to be sold out most places. Since I got my Boost Light Salon, I would never waste my time using this again.

4- LightStim LED Light Therapy. FDA cleared red light device designed to help reduce and eliminate fine lines and wrinkles. This seems like it would be great for spot treating around the eyes.

5- PMD Microderm Pro Device. Microdermabrasion device uses patented spinning disc technology with calibrated vacuum suction to brighten, smooth and even skin tone and texture. I’ve had this done at the deramtologist and loved how my skin looked so this is intriguing.

Have you tried any at home beauty machines? Please share your experience.

Thanks for reading and have a great day.

I would like to hear more about all of this – particularly how to get rid of peach fuzz, how to best exfoliate face, does the laser light thing help?, etc… do these hair regrowth things work? Are there downsides?

    1. I think thatā€™s why we are seeing so many of machines. I havenā€™t read if downsides but there are tons of reviews to get through

  2. Keep us posted on the FOREO. I was reading up on them on LovelySkin.com last night. I have used a Clarisonic Mia for at least 8-10 years, but now that my skin is drier, I was curious about something a little more gentle.

    1. The gentleness was why I ordered it. Iā€™ll let you know after it arrives

  3. I have always shaved my legs with a razor. Thank goodness my leg hair grows slower now that I am 60. However your post prompted me to look at my beauty tool stash and I have a brand new never out of the box PMD personal microdermabrasion tool. I bought it about 3 years ago. Life happened. I stored it away. Now that I have a stable living situation I can play. I will let you know if it was worth the $150 I paid ????

    1. Please do let me know Lee. I’ve been very curious about that one.

  4. What do you think about the trend in women shaving their faces? It seems a little drastic! Iā€™d might try the epilator to get rid of the peach fuzz.

    1. Iā€™ve tried shaving. Itā€™s quick and easy but then I cut my chin ???? Iā€™m going to try the epilator and see
