I have worn Eileen Fisher clothes for many years. You’ve seen me wear her pieces often and frequently the same ones! They’re cost per wear are often very low because they’re versatile and last forever. I stopped into Nordstrom yesterday to see their new Eileen Fisher collection for fall. Eileen Fisher makes collections for their own stores and produces different pieces to be sold at other department stores.
This Ballet Neck Silk top is the most glorious shade of blue. It has ruched 3/4 sleeves which I love, but the position of the drawstring makes my shoulders appear wider than they are. This would be flattering on a woman with smaller shoulders.
This Boxy Organic Cotton Top is super soft and a gorgeous color. The statement sleeves are the best kind…short enough to stay out of the way.
This Stretch Silk Shirt is fabulous!! I know because I have owned it in taupe for at least 8 years. This one is too large for me so looks sloppier than it should. It comes in 3 colors and is a classic to wear for years…obviously;)
This is the Cotton Cropped Jumpsuit in regular length. It comes in petite but I find crops make my legs look shorter so I prefer this. It is oversized by design and I love it. This is a great blank canvas that could be changed with accessories. This Midi Tank Dress is ankle length on me in regular. It is available in petite, but I like this length. It’s a fabulous wear-everywhere basic in EF’s famous stretch jersey. It also comes in a gorgeous midnight blue.
I topped it with this Tweed Kimono Jacket which is a disaster for me. Even with a waist shaping belt, the look is too boxy for my inverted triangle silhouette and the fabric makes it appear heavier than it is.
This is the Eileen Fisher Silk Georgette Top and Slouchy Silk Pant in bone. I could only find the link to the top in Plus here. This top was originally designed in 1999 and is a classic Eileen Fisher staple. The pull-on pants are easy to wear and drape beautifully.
I topped them with this Long Belted Kimono is a very soft tencel. It has a self-belt which I tied in back to give it some waist definition. The truth is, it’s so long on me, nothing keeps it from overwhelming me. It is available in petite but not in my store.
This V-Neck cashmere and wool tunic is fabulous. It comes in 3 colors in regular and petite. Obviously, this is a regular length and looks like a dress on me. This sweater is an investment for sure, but if it fit my budget I would own it!
Many Eileen Fisher pieces are too boxy for my shape so I pick and choose what flatters my shape.
Do you wear Eileen Fisher pieces?
Thanks for reading ladies and have a great day!
