Unique Fashion Designed and Made in the USA

I love to support artists and designers who make their product in America. I find the quality superior and the designs exciting.

You’ve hit your Style Sweet Spot when your appearance is sending the message you intend, and you feel confident that you look your best. This week we are sharing unique fashion designed and made in the USA!

I love everything aboutĀ this jacket!Ā It’s designed and made in California by Yong Kim for Comfy, USA. Her fashions are known for their sophisticated look and timeless style.

This is how it looks straight out of the box! It needs no steaming to look crisp which makes it perfect to travel with.

The princess seams are slimming through the waist then flare to a tulip shaped hem. It’s a feminine look without looking too girly for me.

The angled front pockets add a touch of whimsy and it’s soft tech jersey stays wrinkle free.

The lines of this jacket dress are clean, modern and sophisticated. It’s minimalist design packs a lot of style punch while remaining understated.

It looks wonderful as a jacket, worn open over slim pants for a casual look.

I love that Comfy is designed and manufactured in California! In fact, Artful Home only sells garments designed and made in the USA and Canada. Many are handmade by the artisans themselves!

  1. I love supporting items made in the USA – anything as local as I can get. Thanks for the link, Jennifer.. I like that the coat can be worn alone or over pants.

  2. I really like this dress, and it looks wonderful on you. It makes your waist look so small, very flattering cut.

    1. Thank you, Patrice. The cut is very flattering. It’s princess seaming works miracles because my waist is not that small. I have a very straight body.

  3. Very attractive jacket and you are a great madeinAmerica model…These are just too pricey for me…I will definitely look for cheaper versions..THX for sharing….

    1. I’m willing to pay a bit more to support American workers and keep our jobs at home! Plus this is a unique piece I’ll wear for many, many years!

  4. I really like this! It has lots of style without being too too trendy!

    1. I love that it’s not trendy. It’s just unique!

  5. Looks great on you. Love your fishnet hose.

    1. Thanks! I prefer fishnets to plain sheer black hose.

  6. Beautiful dress, Jennifer! Very nice cut, and I love that it doesn’t wrinkle. The necklace you chose is the perfect accessory!

    1. Thanks, Andrea! It will be perfect for travel.

  7. Love the coat! Looks great on you! I also love supporting USA made items.
However, while I appreciate the inspiration you provide for dressing well over 50, I’m out of my league with you both. The fashions, most of them, are SO expensive! I admit to purchasing $300 on clothing for my wedding day and breakfast the next day, but I got 5 pieces that will interchange with most my wardrobe for years to come. $130 for a tunic is outrageous. The clothes, shoes and accessories on Artful Home are lovely and on trend. I’ll take ideas and go forward.
    Thank you.

    1. We all must shop within our own budgets, Robin. I like to share all options for women so they can see what’s available. Investment dressing is an important part of every woman’s wardrobe and the cost per wear helps make them affordable. Thanks for reading!

  8. Carol LaRochelle says:

I have a few comfy tunic tops and they are fabulous! Nice and long and “comfy,”

    1. I love them too. This hi tech fabric feels like silk, Carol!

  9. Would love to buy more ‘made in America’ items, but sadly cannot afford most of them. Enjoy seeing them on your blog, however!

    1. There is a range in prices so it’s worth a look, Vicki! I find unique pieces like this to be investment items so their cost per wear goes down as I wear them year after year.

  10. What a great jacket…love this Jennifer…it would be perfect for me to wear to work. Very Chic and unique. You look great!

    1. This would be so perfect on you Pam! You’d love it.
