I think Marianne looks simply amazing! Nothing quite beats opera length, black gloves and pearls for chic glamour.
I may adopt that phrase. I love the word darling, but don’t use it enough.
I’ve broken out the hand lotion sample already and it’s lovely.
- The tips I’ve tried work fairly well…most of the time. Make a rhyme out of their name, silently to myself, which should help me recall it later.
- Try to immediately use their name while talking to them. “Oh, so and so, that’s such a great place to…blah, blah, blah”.
1- Meet and repeat.
2- Spell it out. Asking the person to spell their name for you. That’s great if it isn’t something very simple…like Mary!
3- Associate…in your mind… Joan from Jersey.
4- Make a connection. Connect them mentally with someone you already know with the same name.
5- Choose to care. Make a conscious decision to care to remember their name.
No matter how many tools I use, at some point I will inevitably forget someone’s name.
This won’t work all the time, but it may help sometime.
