How do you decide which earrings are most flattering on you? I wear earrings almost every day. Short and long both have a place in my jewelry wardrobe so I thought it would be fun to experiment to show what’s most flattering on me and why. Plus there’s a discount code for AWSL readers and a free giveaway!
Diana Ferguson designs a unique line of earrings called, Petals to the Metal. Love that name!
They’re handcrafted using high-tech, non-tarnish aluminum, jewelry grade resin and her own hand-patterned paper which gives each petal its design. She creates collections for the season and are available in every color imaginable.
Diana graciously sent me all three sizes to see which I liked best. They are such a pretty blue and tinkle quietly when I shake my head.
These earrings are fun, modern and artistic. They’ve quickly become collectibles for women across the country.
This is the shortest pair which is 2″ long. They have 2 layers of overlapping “petals” and end halfway between my jawbone and my chin. These are balanced in length and width.
This is the 2.25″ pair. It has 3 layers of “petals” and ends almost at chin level. These are her most popular length and work for all occasions.
These are the longest at 2.75″ and have 5 layers of petals. They end just past my chin.
This is the best proportion for my face. I have a wide jaw and square chin. This length draws the eye away from the width of my face by elongating it. You see the gap between the earring and my neck which makes my neck appear narrower.
Now that we know what looks best on me. What about you?
I’m giving away the 2″ or 2.25″ pair to one of my readers.
