Dressing in Color for Women Over 50
Color has amazing powers. It can help us feel calm, confident, look thinner, feel happier, and appear more competent. I wear tons of black but have lately been craving color for the pick-me-up it gives.
Although my eyes are considered blue, they contain a range of colors from smokey gray to aqua and deep teal. They look aqua when I wear green, blue when I wear gray and gray when I wear blue. I like to dress to flatter them.
My daughter and I hit the mall this weekend for some holiday shopping. Her visits are too few and far between…sigh.
These cute kids were all decked out in “Nutcracker” garb at my local store. Which reminds me to order our tickets for the ballet.
I wore my Luxe Velvet Tunic by Lisa Bayne, for Artful Home. The velvet texture makes the color simply glow!
Its tunic length is perfect over skinny jeans.
We had a blast seeing what’s new. She is the only woman I shop with…ever.
I lost count of how many women said they loved my shirt. It’s on-trend, in a pretty color and comfortable…score!
The covered buttons are a classy touch and the side slits make it easy to move in.
The more women who admired this shirt, the more I knew it was a great find! I’ll be wearing this a lot throughout the holidays.
