My post on Sunday generated lots of questions and emails about the things I was wearing… so since you asked…here’s where they came from.
I adore cooking so we seldom go out to eat locally. Saturday I wanted a change of pace so we decided to check out our newest Thai restaurant. It called for super casual attire but I wanted to kick it up a notch.
Fall officially started on Thursday and it finally feels a bit cooler here in the SF Bay Area. We’re not getting the crisp cool weather I adore but it has cooled down enough to think about fall clothes!
Although my shopping budget is considerably lower as we approach retirement, I do love treating myself to luxurious body products once in a while. I feel pampered, my skin looks and feels good… particularly if they are natural products.
I’ve just discovered an exciting new company called Mirada de Provence. All of their ingredients are carefully selected for their softening, hydrating and nourishing benefits.
I keep their little pot of Orange Blossom Lip Balm next to my bed. It’s rich with shea butter, sweet almond oil, olive oil and beeswax. Just a little dab each night keeps your lips totally hydrated.
Their Fig Lemon Cedrat body scrub leaves my skin feeling soft and smooth.
The granules are very fine which are gentle on my sensitive skin. Its main ingredients are olive kernels, fig fruit extract, and lemon cedrat.
Fig fruit extract is high in omega 3 fatty acids which help flush toxins and moisturize the skin.
Following my morning shower, I slather on their new Fig Lemon Cedrat body lotion from my neck to my toes while my skin is still a bit damp. This helps trap the moisture next to my skin.
It’s silky smooth and soaks in completely, leaving no greasy after feel.
I love that Mirada de Provence products do not contain parabens or phenoxyethanol. Parabens are manmade preservatives and endocrine disrupters that I have avoided for years. Phenoxyethanol is a known irritant frequently used in organic products. I don’t want that on my skin either. Also, they are never tested on animals!
Mirada de Provence believes true, natural beauty is ageless. Each product is handcrafted and infused with rich botanicals from the farmlands of Provence. Their wish is for us to Get covered in Nature and Get Covered in Confidence. I like their thinking!
Pop over to Mirada de Provence and check out their fabulous body products.
Thank you to Mirada de Provence for collaborating on this post. They sent me this scrub and lotion to try, the words are my own.
I stopped in the Gap last week to see what was new. A lot was new to me because I haven’t shopped there for over 20 years. Why do we stop shopping certain stores?
